A Quarter Century with Prevost Car!

Lamers Bus Lines, Inc. adds three more Prevost H3-45s, bringing its motorcoach fleet to 78.

Sainte-Claire, Quebec, December 14th, 2004 – Lamers Bus Lines, Inc., operators of one of Wisconsin’s largest family-owned motorcoach companies, has just acquired three new H3-45 motorcoaches. This marks the 25th consecutive year that Lamers has added new Prevost vehicles to its fleet.

“We started with Prevost in 1979. We flew down to their plant and what we saw was eye catching,” says Kevin Lamers, the family’s business’ Corporate Secretary. “And since then, we have been adding new Prevost vehicles to the fleet on an annual basis.”

Lamers cites vehicle durability as a reason that approximately three quarters of the 78 motorcoaches in its fleet are manufactured by Prevost Car. “Their products are built to last,” Lamers said. “And that’s important for us, because motorcoaches don’t do anyone any good when they are sitting in a garage.”

Headquartered in Green Bay, with 15 locations throughout Wisconsin, Lamers Bus Lines, Inc. offers a complete line of passenger transportation. This includes mini-coaches and deluxe motorcoaches, standard vans and school buses as well as vehicles for the handicapped, trolleys and luxury limousine service. Lamers Tour & Travel provides custom and package motorcoach tours and another Lamers' division, TVI Transportation Vehicles, Inc., specializes in vehicle sales, service, and distribution. The company is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
