Prevost Begins Construction of New Service Center in Nashville Area

Saint-Claire, Quebec, August 18th —Construction is under way at Prevost’s new Tennessee Parts and Service Center. The new 58,000 sq. ft. facility will be located in Goodlettsville at 800 South Cartwright Street, less than 10 minutes from downtown Nashville. It is expected to become operational in summer of 2009.

"This prime new location will offer expanded service in comparison to the original Tennessee location," said Christian Gagnon, Prevost Construction Project Manager. "Our Tennessee parts and service team prides itself on the customer experience they offer, and watching construction begin has made them even more eager to move to the new center."

The Goodlettsville facility, easily accessed from Exit 97 of Interstate 65, is about 8 miles northeast of Prevost’s current parts and service center in Whites Creek. It will be more than twice the size of the Whites Creek operation, offering all types of routine maintenance, cosmetic upgrades, and major accident repairs. Every aspect of the new building will be custom-built to Prevost specifications—from design of its 13 service bays to systems for super-efficient parts warehousing, conference and training rooms, and an amenity-rich customer lounge. Its expanded warehouse space means that Prevost can distribute parts more efficiently throughout the U.S., and its large exterior space may be used for future expansion and to provide long-term parking for Prevost customer vehicles.

Prevost’s new Nashville facility will be one of six North American service centers where factory-trained experts provide a full range of maintenance services and mechanical repair solutions to get vehicles up and running quickly.
