Prevost Coaches Hit Gulf Coast;
Rallies Feature The Best of
Cuisine and Culture
During the beginning of "March
Madness" for many, dozens of Prevost Coaches converged in the Biloxi
area at both the Prevost Prouds and Parliament Travel Club rallies to sample
the cuisine and culture offered in and around the Biloxi-New Orleans
corridor. Fine dining, shopping, a few slot machines here and there at the
Casino Magic and Beau Rivage casinos, amongst others, provided entertainment
and companionship for the attendees. The St. Patrick's day crowd was
reveled by the French Quarter in New Orleans (pronounced, "Nahlins" by the
helpful tour guides), leading many to sample both the culture and unique
foods and sights of the area.

Although continuously hounded
by paparazzi, Parliament Travel Club President Steve Cooper and his wife
Martha were caught unawares departing from their Prevost coach at the
Parliament Travel Club rally in Biloxi

Participants traveled from as far
away as California, Ohio and the Upper Midwest to attend the rallies,
bringing motorcycles, trailers, vintage cars, and of course, their
magnificent Prevost coaches in the quest for the 'ultimate' in rally
adventure.
Prevost luxury buses ferried the
attendees from place to place, courtesy of Prevost Car Company and lots of
memorable events took place, including many claims of large payouts at the
gaming tables and slot machines of some casinos. Although there
were many claims of winnings, few complained of losing much at the gaming
institutions, leaving some to wonder just how they paid for the great big
buildings housing the casinos...oh well, it was entertainment and fun for
the many.
The French Quarter of New Orleans
on St. Patrick's Day, although cool, spiked up fine eating for those just
being introduced to local cuisine for the first time as well as those who
were returning to the area for another visit.
Casino shops and many local
businesses were visited by the likes of Prevost owners and guests
returning with artwork, Mardi Gras beads, and this-and-that to add to
their traveling collection of good places visited.
